Dr. Jeannine Peterson received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 2018. She attended Montana State University – Bozeman, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology and Neuroscience in 2012. Her experience in Bozeman made her want to return to Montana and practice rural veterinary medicine. For the first 5 ½ years of her career, she practiced in a mixed animal practice in Big Timber, Montana.
Dr. Peterson is from the small town of Tenino, Washington. She grew up on a small farm which fostered her love for animals and veterinary medicine. She and her husband have three dogs and two horses.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She also enjoys getting to explore the great outdoors and traveling.
Dr. Elisabeth de Haan-Rinta grew up in the suburbs of Portland, Oregon before moving to Bozeman to attend Montana State University in 2013 where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Before veterinary school, Elisabeth worked as an assistant for a veterinary dentist and oral surgeon. She then attended veterinary school at Oregon State University Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine.
Elisabeth’s professional interests include internal medicine, emergency medicine, and dentistry. In her free time, Elisabeth can be found hiking, mountain biking, doing CrossFit, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
Jessica was born and raised in a small town in Missouri. Here her love for animals started with family pets and competing in local, AQHA, and 4H/FFA Horse shows. After high school, she entered the veterinary field by attending Crowder Community College for her A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology.
After graduating in 2014, she traveled across multiple states before finally settling in Montana in 2017. Although her career has been largely based on equine medicine, she has developed a passion for emergency and intensive care, along with leadership and inventory management. She brings all these passions to PETS to help provide the best possible care for pets and clients in the Gallatin Valley.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time reading, daydreaming about Scotland, and hanging out with her dog, Renfri. Her future goals include completing her certification in Veterinary Inventory and Specialty in Equine Nursing.
Chloe Q. was raised in Plentywood, Montana. She never considered anything other than being in the veterinary medicine industry. She attended Montana State University – Bozeman completing her Bachelor’s in Animal Science, Livestock Management, and Industry; Minor in Business Administration in 2022. After completing college, she traveled around the state working as a ranch hand and veterinary assistant, developing a deep respect for the bison under her charge. Chloe is currently in her last year of school to acquire her veterinary technician license and pursue specialty certificates related to necropsy and animal dentistry. In her free time, she enjoys singing karaoke, swimming with her blue heelers, Coors and Seven, and being active in her church.
Galen grew up in southeastern Wisconsin, where her first love was the art and film industry. She attended Montana State University – Bozeman, where she enrolled in every class related to the arts. When she graduated with her Bachelor’s in Film and Photography, her fiancé Jared and she decided to set down roots. She eventually was introduced to veterinary medicine starting as a Customer Service Representative and slowly worked her way into the back as a veterinary assistant over three years. She is currently in school to receive her certification through the Penn Foster program. Galen is also Fear Free Certified!
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with Jared and her husky, Juno. You can also find her watching movies, reading, hiking, and doing photography on the side.
Chloe B. grew up in a small, rural town in Northern Wisconsin. She has always known that she would be in the veterinary medicine field since she could barely walk. Chloe attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, graduating with a Bachelor’s in General Biology. She moved to Bozeman after finishing college for a change in scenery. She is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster program to get her license as a veterinary technician and hopes to finish as soon as 2025. You can find her enjoying the occasional hike and a good book.
Ali was born and raised in Western Montana. She plans to focus on starting her ceramics business after graduating from Gallatin College with an AA and Business certificate this summer. She grew up on her family’s farm surrounded by crops, animals and the mountains. She doesn’t want to practice medicine but cares for the comfort and wellbeing of all animals and their people that come through our doors.
When Ali isn’t at the clinic or busy with work, you can find her hanging out with her dog, Partner, taking a stroll, chasing gophers or taking her dirt bike out for an adventure.
